Introduction

Over on /r/MenacesWithSplinters there's a Dwarf Fortress splinter game going on. What that means is that everyone starts with the same world, the same embark, the same dwarves, items, skills, etc. and then we see how everything diverges from that point. I wasn't content to simply write out the basics of what happened though, I wanted to turn it into a story. I don't know if I'll keep it up with doing it that way, but at least for now I'm enjoying it, and I hope you do too!
